Honeybees are important to ecology and to us as a food source. Pinellas Beekeepers Association Inc. has been raising bees and maintaining bee hives for over ten years.
Members Jim Johnson, Mike Carnahan and Johnny Walker will tell us about the organization and its work. They will bring some of their honey to sell and will share the story of bees and the environmental threats these creatures face in our modern world.
Museum visiting hours at present are 10am - 2pm Saturdays. For information call our President Michele Abramo 727-399-0587 Free to all Historical Society members; donations appreciated from non-members
