JAY STARKEY’S

“THINGS I REMEMBER”

1899 – 1979

Mr. Starkey’s son, Jay B. Starkey, Jr., and members of his family
will tell us about his father’s pioneer life in Pinellas.
He was not only a cattle rancher but also County tax collector,
bank director, businessman —and conservationist who worked
to preserve Pinellas’ beauty.

The major road that divides the county north to south is named for him.

Jay Jr. will speak to the Society on

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2015, 7 p.m.

Room 210B, Seminole Recreation Center

9100 – 113th Street, Seminole
