Jim will introduce his new book, “Seminole,” at our next meeting,

November 18, a week before Thanksgiving!

Books will be available for sale ($23.50) just in time for Christmas giving.

And guess what – Jim is donating royalties to Seminole Historical Society!

This is the fifth book on  Pinellas County history Jim has written since 2011.

Seminole may be the “youngest” incorporated municipality in Pinellas County,

but the community has a long and established history, and Jim’s book brings it to life.

It is filled with historical photos and images of Seminole—something

for all of us to look forward to!

Jim is the Librarian for the Special Collections and University Archives at the

Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, University of South Florida St. Petersburg.

He has spoken to our Society in the past on various historical topics and

has long been one of the Museum’s strongest supporters.

The meeting will be held in our MARVELOUS NEW MUSEUM

on Wednesday, November 18 (a week before Thanksgiving) at 7 p.m.

Location:  Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road.

There’s plenty of parking and signage to guide you.

Light refreshments will be served.

Admission is free; the public is invited to attend.
